Overview
From 1976 to 1980, Chow Peng was a Legal Officer with the Singapore Legal Service with attachments at the Legal Department of the Ministry of Defence and the Registry of Titles and Deeds. From 1980 to 1985, he was a Legal Assistant with Shook Lin & Bok, being involved in corporate, conveyancing and litigation duties with 6 months attachment with the firm of Linklaters and Paines in London for international corporate finance. From 1985 to 1987 he was a Partner with the firm of Toh Tan LLP.
On 1st August 1987, he formed a sole-proprietorship namely, Chow Peng & Partners until merger with CTLC Law Corporation on 1st September 2015.
With a very wide experience in property and conveyancing transactions, he acted for both sales and purchases of different types of properties including residential, commercial and industrial. He also acted for developers in their development, mortgage and sale of the developments.
He also has a practice in corporate secretarial matters providing incorporation and secretarial services and advising on commercial problems encountered by clients.
Chow Peng also has experience and is familiar with immigration matters especially in the areas of immigration under the Economic Benefit Scheme or Global Investor Programme administered by the EDB and ICA of Singapore
Other expertise includes general advising on commercial contracts and disputes, family law matters including wills, probate and estate administration.
